Department of Anthropology
The WSU Anthropology Graduate Program involves the faculty of the Pullman and Vancouver campuses. Cultural and Archaeology students who wish to work directly with Vancouver faculty typically complete their core courses on the Pullman campus, and then move to Vancouver to complete their degrees. Students in the Evolutionary stream have the option to begin their graduate work on the Vancouver campus.
Vancouver-based graduate students can take courses taught by Pullman faculty using the university videoconference system, and Pullman-based graduate students can take courses taught by Vancouver faculty. MA and PhD students whose committee chair is resident in Vancouver would typically also have Pullman faculty on their committee, and Pullman students often have Vancouver faculty on their committees.
In summary, the WSU Anthropology Graduate Program is fully unified across the two campuses.
